Nextreme Names Director of Manufacturing

Research Triangle Park, N.C. —
Stephen Brooks, a 24-year veteran of the high tech industry, has joined Nextreme Thermal Solutions as director of manufacturing.
Nextreme has developed technology for dealing with heat and power management in semiconductor chips. The company is moving into a new 14,000 square foot facility.
Brooks most recently worked at Amkor Technology, another semiconductor firm. He also has worked at JDS Uniphase and Cronos Integrated Microsystems as well as Mitsubishi Semiconductor.
