AirDefense Expands Services in Partnership with AirWave

ATLANTA – AirDefense, a provider of wireless network security, is expanding the range of its services in a partnership with California-based AirWave Wireless.
AirDefense’s Enterprise 7.2 product will incorporate AirWave’s Management Platform 5.0 software that automatically configures and audits most wireless fidelity (WiFi) products. The AirWave software discovers and monitors access points and users in real time. The information is used by AirDefense’s software for huse in identifying unauthorized users or devices.
The companies will launch a marketing alliance to support customers who licenses the integrated network solution.
