Nanotech Magazine Picks Nextreme Thermal For Award
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. -- Nextreme Thermal Solutions, a developer of technology designed to control heat in electrical components, is among the winners in the "Nano 50" awards as selected by Nanotech Briefs magazine.
The awards program is designed to recognize the top 50 products, technologies and innovators that have already had significant impact on nanotechnology -- or could do so in the future.
"The winners of the Nano 50 awards are the best of the best -- the innovative people and technologies that will continue to move nanotechnology to key mainstream markets," said Linda Bell, publisher of Nanotech Briefs.
Nextreme has developed thermoelectric coolers that utilize nanotechnology. The coolers include a thin film consisting of bismuth telluride and help cool "hot spots" on semiconductor chips.
