RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK —
IBM has agreed to license $140 million of Compuware software and to purchase up to $260 million in Compuware services over the next four years, according to media reports.
The settlement came during a five-week trial in Detroit. Compuware had sued, charging theft of intellectual property and monopolistic behavior. Compuware said some of its former employees hired by IBM provided IBM with trade secrets.
Compuware focuses on software for running mainframe computers.
