HiddenMind's Developer Zone offers developers a free, downloadable, 60-day trial of the company's Active Technology platform. The platform consists of the Active Mobility Client, Active Studio and Active Mobility server. HiddenMind says it welcomes feedback regarding the software platform and is encouraging developers interested in the possibilities of mobile applications to visit the new Web site.

"We've made it easy to sample the power of mobile applications," Ken Walters, chief executive officer of HiddenMind, said in a statement. "Developers who've recognized the limitations of synchronization as an approach to building applications over wireless networks will appreciate our more familiar client/server model and the simplified API offered by our enhanced reliable messaging platform."

Cary-based HiddenMind says it intends to learn from the expertise of developers and is committed to using Developer Zone feedback to better meet the needs of mobile application developers.

"We are very interested in seeing how the creativity of the developers who download our platform will be applied to Active Technology and what types of new and innovative applications will be the result," Walters added.
