ATLANTA —
Stephen Fleming, a former venture capitalist and telecommunications engineer, is the new head of the Georgia Tech Innovation Institute.
Fleming has worked at Tech since 2005 as its chief commercialization officer. He also led the commercialization services division for the Innovation Institute. Fleming, who earned a college degree in theoretical physics, replaces Wayne Hodges. Hodges recently retired after a 40-year career at Tech.
