NanoCor Therapeutics raises $2.5M

Chapel Hill, N.C. —
Drug startup NanoCor Therapeutics has closed on $2.5 million in new financing.
Medtronic, a medical technology company based in Minnesota, made the investment. It pledged to invest $7.5 million in NanoCor two years ago.
NanoCor is developing a treatment for congestive heart failure. It is utilizing technology developed at UNC-Chapel Hill.
