Pappas Ventures joins investment round in California firm

Research Triangle Park, N.C. —
Life sciences venture capital firm Pappas Ventures is among the investors in a new round of financing for Lead Therapeutics.
VentureWire reported Monday that the California firm had raised $3 million of an expected $7 million round.
In 2007, Lead Therapeutics raised $17 million. The firm is focused on treatments for cancer and infectious diseases.
Other investors include Mustang Ventures and ProQuest Investments.
