Defense partnership awards Fayetteville firm $44,000 grant

Fayetteville, N.C. —
Immersion Mediaa software development firm, has received a $44,000 grant from the Partnership for Defense Innovation.
The PDI is the parent organization of the Defense and Security Technology Accelerator, a new business incubator.
Immersion joined the DSTA in May. The firm will use the grant to develop a video training tool for jumpmaster training at the Advanced Airborne School at Fort Bragg. Immersion has developed similar tools for use at the Joe Torre Virtual Baseball Academy and for U.S. Figure Skating basic skill straining.
