Entrepreneurs seeking financing or some counsel from an investor’s point of view have opportunities to meet face-to-face with Southern Capitol Ventures in Raleigh and Atlanta.

Jason Caplain and David Jones of the early-stage venture fund will be putting on “Calling All Entrepreneurs” sessions June 3 in Raleigh and June 11 in Atlanta.

Entrepreneurs get the chance for face time with the VCs with a 10-minute presentation followed by a few minutes of questions and answers.

The VCs will be at the Carolina Café in Cary on Wednesday from 7 to 9 a.m.

“We're happy to meet any entrepreneur or aspiring entrepreneur,” Caplain said. “The only thing we ask is that you have to be in one of these industries: e-commerce, software, healthcare IT, digital media or wireless. Those are the industries we focus on.”

On June 11, Caplain and Jones will have sessions from 7 to 10 a.m. at a site to be determined.

If interested in presenting, send an e-mail to Caplain (jason@southerncapitolventures.com) to schedule a time.
