Charlotte Startup Yap Closes on $1.5M

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
Yap, a startup focused on speech recognition technology, has raised $1.5 million inn funding, according to TechJournal South.
Yap is developing a means of converting cell phone or other calls to text.
Igor Jablokoy is chief executive and co-founder of the company, which has six employees.
