RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Daniel Primack, a former editor and writer at Private Equity Hub who is well known in the Triangle entrepreneurial and venture communities, is launching a new venture.
Primack, who grew readership to well over 60,000 with a mix of private equity, venture capital news and often frosty opinion, left his post at Thomson Reuters last week.
Having joined Fortune, he is preparing to launch a new online news venture.
“I'm preparing to launch a new daily email called The Term Sheet, which will cover deals and deal-makers from Sand Hill Road to Wall Street,” Primack wrote Monday.
“My emphasis will remain on the private markets, with a hefty dose of public M&A thrown in. It will be published by Fortune.com, where I'll also have a new blog beginning next week. You can sign up for The Term Sheet by entering your email address below. Thanks for all of your past and (hopefully) future readership...”
Primack, who annually serves as a judge in the UNC-CH Kenan Flagler Business School business plan competition, offers early signup here.
