There will be more of this surfacing, I am sure. IBM is a dying entity, with precious few years left in existence. As such execs are scrabbling around to maximise the few years of profit left. Cutting jobs - to reduce wage payload, moving jobs to 'lower cost areas' - an example of this is EMEA AIX jobs going to Romania in 2010.
But beware ...... the IBM cupboard is almost bare, there are few resources which IBM owns that have real value. As such greater risks will have been taken, so I do expect to see more of these stories surfacing

I guess we'll see if Execs are held to the same Business Conduct Guidelines as everyone else.
IBM is not the company it once was, I believe we'll see more of this type of thing coming out of IBM.
