I find this strange because I was at a Sprint event/meeting last week and I was told that Raleigh was on their schedule for the first quarter.
Why do you expect 4G when they barely have workable 3G? (in RTP)Their service is beyond pathetic.
Way to skew the facts. Sprint is deploying their new "Network Vision" equipment by market, not by city. The cities you listed are part of the Charlotte market which is larger and more populous than the Raleigh market, hence higher up the list. Work is starting on the Raleigh market as well. The more cell sites in a city, the longer it takes to upgrade enough cell sites to have the coverage blanket to announce that the city has coverage.
Yes. It is verified that Sprint will NOT have LTE 4G in Raleigh until late 2014. The information above about Charlotte is absolutely incorrect. LOL @ 3G speeds. Good point. We were with Sprint and switched to Verizon and have seen huge difference in 3G speed. Night and Day.
My iPhone showed Sprint LTE this evening. I ran a speed test and it was a fraction of what LTE typically runs but it was nearly three times 3G. Looks to me that they're testing it at the very least.
