Nortel to cut 1,300 jobs, including some in RTP, freeze salaries, boot 4 top execs
Research Triangle Park, N.C. —Telecommunications giant, which employs 2,000 people in RTP, is slashing expenditures in attempt to preserve cash. Some layoffs will take place in Triangle.
