Self-publishing firm Lulu moves ahead with plans for IPO

RALEIGH, N.C. – Self-publishing company Lulu, which is owned by Red Hat co-founder Bob Young, is moving ahead with plans for an initial public offering of stock in Canada.

In a statement issued in Canada on Friday, Lulu said the offering would be handled by Genuity Capital Markets and CIBC.

Lulu provides a variety of publishing services for authors, musicians and artisits.

News about Lulu’s IPO plans for a $48 million offering emerged in January.
