CED picks nine more companies to present at venture conference

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Nine startup companies from North Carolina and Georgia are the latest firms to be selected to make presentations at the Council for Entrepreneurial Development’s upcoming venture conference.
The companies are:
• BestThinking.com, N.C.
• Patagonia Health, N.C.
• Sequentric Energy Systems, N.C.
• ShareFile, N.C.
• SchoolDude, N.C.
• StatSheet, N.C.
• Valencell, N.C.
• Vocalocity, Ga.
• Zift Solutions, N.C.
CED expects to name more than 40 firms in several different areas to participate in the conference.
Last week, 11 life science firms were picked:
• ABT Molecular Imaging, Tenn.
• CeneRX, N.C.
• Clinipace, N.C.
• EntoGenetics, N.C.
• Iconic Therapeutics, Ga.
• Innerpulse, N.C.
• Ion Surgical, S.C.
• NextRay, N.C.
• Oncoscope, N.C.
• TransEnterix, N.C.
• Vascular Pharmaceuticals, N.C.
The conference is set for April 20-22 in Pinehurst.
