Duke team wins regional Association for Corporate Growth event

RALEIGH, N.C. – A team of MBA students at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business took home first place in the recent Association for Corporate Growth Cup case study competition sponsored by the Triangle ACG chapter.
Meredith finished second, and UNC-CH’s Kenan-Flager placed third.
Students evaluated valuation, capital markets and merger and acquisition strategies in presentations to a panel of judges. The judges included Jeff Barber or Fennebresque Partners, Greg Connors of Quintiles, Lyle Lohmeyer of ZeeCRO, Cary Nordan of Cary Nordan of Triangle Capital Corporation, Margaret Rosenfeld of Smith Anderson and Keith Wallace of RSM McGladrey served as judges.
Winners at 24 ACG chapter events will compete for the national ACG Cup title.
