Hamner Institutes names chief business officer to its board

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Rick Williams, chief business officer at The Hamner Institutes, is the newest member of the institute’s board.
Williams recently led efforts to forge a partnership between the Hamner and three China entities to create The Hamner-China Biosciences Center as well as a project called Global Biosciences Gateway. A purpose of the partnerships is to help businesses expand operations in both countries.
“Rick has done an excellent job of helping me to create the new Global Biosciences Gateway for Translational Research and Business Development,” said William F. Greenlee, chief executive officer at The Hamner. “He will provide the Board with a unique perspective on what The Hamner needs to fulfill its vision.”
