Red Hat CEO discusses growth, buyout prospects

Red Hat's growth in 2009 came from customers seeking value, Chief Executive Officer Jim Whitehurst told Bloomberg News Wednesday.
He predicted continued growth through volume in the coming year, but dodged questions about whether the world’s top Linux software developer and services provider is ripe for a buyout.
