Lenovo, AT&T team up for package of PCs, laptops, tech support

MORRISVILLE, N.C. – Lenovo, the world’s No. 4 PC manufacturer, is teaming up with AT&T for a combination of PC hardware and technical support that targets small- and medium-sized businesses.
It’s the first time AT&T is offering its 24-by-7 “Tech Support 360” remote information support service in a bundle with hardware.
Lenovo hardware offered in the package includes:
• Laptops (ThinkPad SL510 and T400)
• Desktop (ThinkCentre A58)
The AT&T service supports hardware as well as network setup, software support, training, and peripheral configuration. AT&T also offers training for the new Windows 7 package.
Launched in September of 2008, the AT&T support program was been used by more than 100,000 businesses in its first 10 months of operation, according to an AT&T spokesperson.
"Packaging Lenovo PC hardware and services from AT&T into one IT solution helps get businesses up and running quickly and staying productive around the clock,” said Lenovo’s Stephen DiFranco, vice president for channel partners organization in North America.
Lenovo’s global headquarters are located in Morrisville.
The PCs and service package is available at PC Mall.
