RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — The gold goes to
RTI International for enterprise risk management, says Treasury & Risk magazine.
RTI received the Alexander Hamilton award for a second straight year. It launched risk management efforts in 2005.
Among the reasons cited by the magazine was development of new reporting tools. RTI’s system includes a dashboard tool for aggregation of information that its then sent to senior management.
"For an organization with the breadth and scope of RTI International, whose projects range from establishing local governments in postwar Iraq to studying drug abuse in the military and assessing the literacy of American school children, getting a grasp on strategic and operational risk is a challenge. RTI's latest iteration taps the value of highly sophisticated dashboard technology,” the magazine said.
RTI Treasurer and Chief Risk Officer Ward Sax and Enterprise Risk Management Program Senior Manager Jennifer MacKethan received the award.
