CARY, N.C. – The College of Charleston is the latest institution to sign on for use of online procurement services from SciQuest.
The school will use SciQuest’s HigherMarket Express for spending on goods and services as well as a supplier recruiting solution, contract management and supplies management.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
SciQuest offers its service through a software-as-a-service (Saas) and has a growing clientele of colleges, universities and other organizations.
"HigherMarkets Express offers an on-demand solution that we can easily deploy to automate our key procurement processes and, most importantly, the intuitive online shopping experience it provides will support the needs of our user community and drive adoption,” said Wendy Williams, director of procurement and supply at the College of Charleston.
