Premium Lock UNC's HIV work is 'Breakthrough of the Year'

UNC HIV study honored by Science magazine HPTN 052 studied “discordant” couples, where one partner has HIV and the other does not. The majority of the couples enrolled were in Africa, which remains the epicenter of the epidemic.
