On Tuesday RTI said it had acquired MasiMax Resources, a provider of communications and marketing services. It is based in Rockville, Md.
MasiMax, which launched in 1993, has more than employees and is focused on providing services to various federal agencies such as the National Institutes of Health as well as the Smithsonian and various Health and Human Services agencies.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
“Adding these talented professionals to our team is part of a strategy to strengthen and broaden our project communications and marketing capabilities into new research fields and market sectors,” said RTI Chief Executive Officer Victoria Haynes. “Combining the capabilities of our two organizations will allow us to take advantage of many new and emerging opportunities in the federal sector.”
MasiMax offers communications, media relations, marketing, conference and exhibit services, research and analysis as well as interactive offerings.
