Biotech Center, NCBIO to partner again with CED for biotech conference
The North Carolina Biotechnology Center and NCBIO are partnering again with the Council for Entrepreneurial development to put on the CED’s annual biotechnology conference.
The two-day event is set for Feb. 16-17 at the new Raleigh Convention Center.
NCBIO is the state affiliate of the national Biotechnology Industry organization.
“Anyone involved with life sciences in North Carolina is well aware of the important role NCBIO and the North Carolina Biotechnology Center play in stimulating and supporting biotech growth,” said Joan Siefert Rose, CED’s president. “We look forward to partnering with these organizations to bring life science leaders from across the Southeast together to learn how policy changes will affect the biotech industry in 2009.”
The 18th annual conference will include BIO’s top executive James Greenwood, Quintiles founder and chairman Dennis Gillings and John Campbell, founder and chairman of Campbell Alliance.
