RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Bunker Labs, an accelerator program for startups focusing on veterans who want to be entrepreneurs, is launching a new program this week called EPIC.

“Bunker RDU saw significant demand for an intensive course for new entrepreneurs for people who needed to keep their day jobs,” the accelerator which is based at The Frontier in RTP, says. “This led to the creation of the EPIC program, a 10-week course built around best-in- class curriculum and practices in entrepreneurial education.”

The event is set for Feb. 9 from 3-4:30 p.m.

Says Dean Bundschu, Executive Director of Bunker Labs RDU: “Since starting our chapter, our community has engaged with us in a collaborative way to help us provide veteran entrepreneurs with access to first class resources and support throughout the community and the state. By joining with us, we have begun to create a statewide network where veteran entrepreneurs can come to start businesses, grow them and succeed.”

Guest speaker for the event is Joe Sheridan, an entrepreneur and a highly decorated Cobra helicopter gunship pilot who fought in the Vietnam war.
