Biologics Inc., a complex care management firm, has grown from 68 employees to 350 over the past five years and is expanding into a new 76,000 square foot office building in Cary. The company says the move is the first in a series of planned expansion projects for the company.
The new corporate office will give Biologics the space and resources needed to continue to expand upon its high-touch specialty pharmacy and Biopharma support services, the company says.
Over the last five years Biologics has been awarded new program contracts from numerous Biopharma companies to support patients with cancer and other complex diseases.
The new corporate office, built by Highwoods Properties, is located within two miles of the company’s existing 32,000 square foot facility at 120 Weston Oaks Court. This facility will be retrofitted to accommodate the growth of Biologics’ specialty pharmacy business unit. Future expansion projects include a third location in the Weston Parkway area of Cary, North Carolina and a West Coast distribution facility, expected to open in First Quarter, 2016.
