Billy Beane turned his “Moneyball” strategy into a winning one with Major League Baseball’s Oakland A’s. Now he’s going to share some of his insight with ecommerce providers.

Beane is one of the keynote speakers for the annual Catalyst Americas summit put on by Triangle-based ecommerce services provider ChannelAdvisor (NYSE: ECOM).

The conference is set for April 11-13 in Las Vegas.

But Beane is far from alone as a speaker and presenter.

“Catalyst Americas is the go-to event for brands and retailers to connect with the biggest names in e-commerce,” said David Spitz, ChannelAdvisor CEO. “Through powerful keynotes, informative breakout sessions and invaluable networking opportunities with industry peers, Catalyst attendees get a leg up on the competition by hearing the latest trends and innovations that are shaping the future of e-commerce.”

Other keynote presenters than Beane and Spitz are:

  • Scott Hilton, chief revenue officer at Jet
  • Hal Lawton, senior vice president of eBay North America
  • Vineet Buch, director of product management for Shopping Search at Google
  • Jason Goldberg, senior vice president of commerce and content practice at Razorfish
  • Rob Green, director and general manager of Amazon Business

“E-Commerce, Future-Proofed” is the theme of the event.
