Becton Dickinson on Tuesday confirmed that a manufacturing plant is being shut in Creedmoor, according to The News and Observer in Raleigh.

Some 120 workers will be affected but some also may transfer to jobs at another facility in RTP that is run by the medical technology firm, The N&O noted.

Of the 120 jobs, some will be moved to Mexico and others to a BD plant in Utah, the company told the newspaper.
