Amazon announced on Wednesday the expansion of its free same-day delivery service to 11 new metro areas, including Raleigh.
The expansion of Prime FREE Same-Day Delivery allows Amazon Prime members in Raleigh to order products in the morning that will be delivered by 9 p.m. on the same day, according to an announcement on the company’s website. Orders placed in the afternoon or evening will arrive the next day.
Amazon’s expansion of the service also includes cities from Sacramento, California to Richmond, Virginia to Charlotte. Now, the service is live in 27 metro areas, according to the company.
Prime FREE Same-Day Delivery supplements the company’s faster, two-hour delivery Prime Now and free two-day shipping options.
