International networking firm Alcatel-Lucent will eliminate 10,000 jobs as part of Chief Executive Officer Michel Combes' so-called "Shift Plan" plan to accelerates a $1.4 billion cost-cut plan to revive the unprofitable French network-equipment maker. Of those cuts, some 2,100 will take place in the Americas....
