4K TVs top NC Black Friday bargain hunters’ list

One of high-tech’s flashiest advances – 4K ultra high-definition TVs – is the biggest “wish” for North Carolina shoppers heading into the holiday shopping season, says ecommerce website Decluttr.

Using Google Trends data, DeCluttr reports that North Carolina is one of only two states where the rapidly emerging 4K TVs top the want list.

The other is Illinois.

But TVs are also most wanted in eight other states.

And across the nation, DeCluttr’s Chris Smith, tech toys are in big demand as Black Friday (this Friday) nears.

“Most of us have been searching for bargains already, with tech products high on the nation’s wish list,” he writes.

Among the most wanted items are gaming platforms.

“Most states are hoping to land an awesome Xbox One Black Friday deal, with folks in Idaho, Kentucky, Maine, Montana and South Dakota all searching for the Microsoft console,” he writes. “The PS4 isn’t far behind though, topping searches in Nevada, Oregon, Vermont and West Virginia.”

Apple iPhones are highly wanted, too. They top the list among shoppers Google data tracked in 10 sates.
