The acquisition binge at 3D Systems continues.

On Tuesday after the markets closed, the Rock Hill, S.C.-based company which is focused on the 3D industry said it had acquired U.K.-based CRDM.

The deal is the fourth for 3D Systems (NYSE: DDD) in recent months. The firm acquired Morrisville-based Geomagic earlier this year for $55 million.

Financial terms of the latest acquisition were not disclosed.

“CRDM is a strategic and geographically important addition to our rapidly growing 3D content-to-print services portfolio,” said Ziad Abou, general manager of Quickparts Solutions for 3D Systems. “With a proven track record in advanced manufacturing and rapid tooling, CRDM complements and expands our extensive range of custom parts services.”

CRDM focuses on rapid prototyping and rapid tooling services.

3D Systems said it would “immediately integrate” CRDM into its Quickparts Solutions group.

CRDM provides parts, prototyping and tooling for automotive, aerospace, medical device and other clients such as motorsports.
