Want to network with some of the Triangle’s top entrepreneurs and thought leaders? Try the launch party for Chris Heivly’s “Build the Fort” book at the American Underground Main in Durham (corner of Main and Cocoran) this evening. It’s open to the public. The event starts at 4 and runs until about 5:30 p.m.

Heivly, managing director and co-founder of the Startup Factory, will discuss the book in an interview with the American Underground’s Adam Klein and sign copies available for purchase.

The book explains why five simple lessons you learned as a 10-year-old can set you up for startup success.

If the response to the event we’ve seen on Twitter is a good guide, you can expect to mingle with regional startup luminaries.

It’s also a good opportunity to see the American Underground at Main space in Durham if you have not already. It includes a 40-foot slide, bank vault recreation room, old pin ball machines, a loft and lots of entrepreneurs hard at work on the next big thing.
